NYS were asked if they wanted to pass an amendment to the NYS constitution,
to change II.1 - to change residence requirement for voting purposes, so that it will be satisfied by four months residence within the county, city, or village (not just county)
as proposed by the NYS Legislature
And the voters said: Yes!
