to change X.1 - to allow sherrifs to be eligible to serve again after their current terms
as proposed by the NYS Legislature

Article X: Local Officers; General Provisions • Section 1: Sheriffs, clerks of counties, register and clerk of New York, coroners and district attorneys — Governor may remove.
Except in counties in the city of New York, sheriffs, clerks of counties, district attorneys, and registers in counties having registers, shall be chosen by the electors of the respective counties, once in every three years, and as often as vacancies shall happen.
