The Text

The moneys authorized to be raised by the sale of highway bonds pursuant to the law approved by vote of the people at the general election held in the year one thousand nine hundred and twelve, which have been apportioned to certain counties in excess of the sums, to be determined by the comptroller, which are or will be required to construct and improve the highways theretofore determined by general laws to be constructed and improved in such counties, shall be applied by the superintendent of public works after appropriation by the legislature to the construction and improvement of such state routes and portions thereof, as were defined by law when such bonds were authorized, and located outside of such counties, as he may deem expedient.
