VI.22 of 1926 • Publication of statutes; court reports.

The Text

The legislature shall provide for the speedy publication of all statutes and all civil or criminal practice acts and rules, and for the collection, compilation and publication annually of the civil and criminal judicial statistics of the state. It shall further provide for the creation of a state law reporting bureau, which shall be under the direction and control of an official state reporter, who shall be appointed and be removable by the court of appeals, and who shall be charged with the duty, as may be provided by law and directed by said court, of publishing official reports of the opinions or decisions of all the courts of the state. But all laws and judicial opinions or decisions shall be free for publication by any person.
